Lesson 2 : Direct /Indirect speech الكلام المباشر/الغير مباشر

Direct speech :الكلام المباشر

وهو الكلام الذي ينقله صاحبه وتشكيله يكون كالتالي :

He/she said “I visit ANNABA “

Indirect speech :الكلام الغير المباشر

وهو الكلام الذي ينقله شخص اخر  وتشكيله يكون كالتالي :

He/she says that he/she visits ANNABA

He/she said that he/she visited ANNABA

القواعد : The rules

        1-Reporting verbs are :said - asked – ordered - suggested – answered,reported …..

       -2اذا كان الكلام المباشرDirect speech في المضارعPresent او احد اصناف المضارع present simple,perfect,continous فان الكلام الغير المباشر indirect speech يصبح في الماضي Past  او احد اصنافه اي على الترتيب Past simple ,perfect ,continous .

-3         اذا كان الكلام المباشرDirect speech في past simple, perfect فان الكلام الغير المباشر indirect speech يصبح في الماضيPast perfect   .

Using الاستخدام

Suffixes

beautiful (جميل)، colorful (ملون)، powerful (قوي)

يضاف إلى النهاية لتكوين صفات تعبر عن الاكتمال أو التوفر لكمية كبيرة من شيء ما.

helpless (عاجز)، fearless (بلا خوف)، tasteless (بلا طعم).

يُضاف إلى النهاية لتكوين صفات تعبر عن نقص أو عدم وجود شيء معين.

تعريف : وصف كيفية تنفيذ الإجراء او كيفية حدوث الشيء .

 Quickly: She finished her homework quickly.

سريعا :هي انهت وظائفها بسرعة .                

 Slowly: The turtle moved slowly across the road.

ببطء:السلحفاة تتحرك ببطء عبر الطريق               

 Carefully: He handled the fragile items very carefully.

بعناية: لقد تعامل مع العناصر الهشة بعناية فائقة    

 Loudly: The music was playing loudly at the party.

بصوت عالٍ: كانت الموسيقى تعزف بصوت عالٍ في الحفلة  

 Quietly: Please speak quietly in the library.

            بهدوء: يرجى التحدث بهدوء في المكتب                        

 Efficiently: The new system allows us to work more efficiently.

  الكفاءة: يتيح لنا النظام الجديد العمل بكفاءة أكبر.        

Beautifully: She presented her play  beautifully on stage.

  جميلة: قدمت مسرحيتها بشكل جميل على المسرح

How to write a report

 

        

        This is the report about the surf on the web so that I submitted 10 informants they aged between 15to18.

        First question that I asked if they surfed on the web? .Of course all the informants said yes, they did .Then I asked them where they did the surf? Three of them said that they surfed at home, and seven of them said that they surfed in cybercafé, and when I asked them how often they did the surf? Six of them said that they surfed every day and two informants said that they surfed at weekends and the rest informants said that they surfed occasionally. And the last question I asked  them for what they did the surf? Six of them said that they surfed for chat; three of them said that they surfed for studies and one of them said that he/she  surfed on the web to download videos.

       As expected, my survey showed that most teenagers surf on the web in their life .

 

A report about an accident

 

     One day at 16:30pm I saw a large gathering of people far  and other people run toward the gathering and I saw my classmate called Ranim run toward me and she said that Ahmed had an accident and she was crying ,I was running and  my feet were trembling , my heart was beating fast, and my eyes were streaming with tears and my lips were dithering  and screaming  with Ahmed’s name ,when I arrived to an accident place I saw Ahmed’s bike was  falling and breaking then I watched my  friend Ahmed lying on the ground motionless with blood under his head I hugged him tightly while screaming his name, but to no avail. He did not respond. A group of men were preventing me from approaching him and shouting so that I would not cause him any more harm until the ambulance came and took him. I begged the ambulance men to took me with them. On our way to the hospital, one of the nurses was trying Ahmed’s pulse and I was shaking. I asked him, if Ahmed was live? He waited a little while, and then smiled and said yes, his heart is beating. I felt some relief, after that we arrived to hospital they took him directly to the operating room and I called Ahmed’s parents they came hurry and they were crying till the doctor came out of the operating room and told us that the operation was successful,

        We were happy and after few days Ahmed recovered and he came back to us.
